<\/p>\nOriginally I bought this thing on a lark. I needed something to stick on my recently completed 10.5″ AR Pistol. I saw this thing on Amazon and decided why not.<\/p>\n

I’ve got about 200 rounds through the gun and under the optic so far.<\/p>\n
The good news? The magnifier is still in one piece and it still positively locks in both positions. I haven’t drop tested it or anything like that, but it will come. The QD mount is also surprisingly solid.<\/p>\n
Here comes the bad news. Its a 45.00 dollar optic. It’s heavy at 11.8 ounces, the glass has clear distortions that are especially noticeable beyond 100 yards.<\/p>\n

If you absolutely have to have a magnifier and have 45-50 bucks, go ahead and get one. Personally I’m gonna upgrade both the Red Dot and the Magnifier to Vortex’s on the gun early next year.<\/p>\n
Bottom Line: If it’s all you can afford? Get one. It’s better than nothing. But I would not recommend.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
